Mum, it’s been nearly two weeks now since you left me, with the gap in my life and the realisation you are not here I shed silent tears knowing you are no longer with me but my heart is filled with the love that we shared and my mind is bursting with over sixty years of wonderful memories of you that seem like only yesterday, they will never ever leave me.
As you ask, as you always do “ are you alright Peter “ yes Mum, I’m fine, don’t worry about me, you rest in peace, I’m fine. xx
